Review of JTs World
JT’s World by E Alan Fleischauer is a fun Western novel set in a hot and humid Wild West setting. It is about a man named JT Thomas who is a wealthy Business man but also a kind-hearted man. Because of unforeseen circumstances, he has to go on a trip with some of his trusted men. During this trip, he meets the lovely Jessica and once again falls deeply in love. Back on his property, he is building many businesses that will flourish. For example shops, a bar, a theatre, a carousel, and doctors' offices. This book is full of action, adventure, romance, and near-death experiences.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I do not normally read Western stories and it is very different from what I am used to reading but this one was a fun read. I expected a lot more gore but it was not as graphical as I thought it would be. I enjoyed the humor in the book. JT’s World was very informative and I could see myself in those circumstances and situations. Seeing a different perspective and surroundings from what I usually read was very intriguing and fun and a good change of pace. The storyline was also well thought out and I loved reading about JT. He is a very good man who truly loves doing good and loves helping other people. His character is one of a well-rounded person with his affairs in order and very ambitious and successful.
There was not anything that I did not like about this book. E Alan Fleischauer did a good job of creating characters that were not like any other characters I have read about, especially JT. His writing style is very unique. I enjoyed E Alan Fleischauer’s humor and his keen eye for detail. The author likes to incorporate characters in his books that only look out for themselves, as they would have been in those days.
I have to give JT’s World a 5 out of 5 stars because it was a good book and an easy and enjoyable read. It is not a typical love story. The book appeared to be professionally edited as I found only one grammatical and typographical error.
I recommend this book to all Western lovers and those who enjoy adventure stories. I do not recommend this book to children because of some violence and sexual suggestions. There were some profanities in the book.
