Review of Man Mission
Man mission by Eytan Uliel is a story told from a personal perspective. The author and his three friends had a journey for 15 years for an adventure. It is their usual duty to make a trip yearly altogether. The author is propagated as the main protagonist and also the sole story narrator. On their way, they hiked, cycled, and kayaked all together. The book sheds light on the adventures, the challenges they faced along the way, and the lessons they learned from such experiences. The primary reason/purpose for their adventure was to seek companionship alongside choosing a career path. Along the way, they sort solidarity as well as personal growth and also developed their insights. As they journeyed, they engaged, made friends, developed their careers, and lately families were brought up. Life become worse as they progressed with their adventure but become of great importance as time passed by. As they continued to grow into manhood, they expertise the rudiments and challenges of adulthood such as parenting, career development, and love life. Although by this time three quarters among them had families, this could not stop them from exercising their core role of adventure and annual expeditions. They all continued with their spirit of adventure.
This story is narrated from a personal perspective. The author narrates how their adventure started, the aim, the challenges encountered and the lessons learned. Each point of view is entirely interconnected to the interspersed stage of life. The author's narration is elucidative and as the protagonist, he uses phenomenal descriptions which are vivid and detailed. I love how after the end of each trip the author sheds light on the resources they lost, their opportunity cost alongside the lessons learned. I much appreciate how his narration is practicable and straightforward. The author narrates this story from an honest heart and employs simple language. His honesty reveals the bonding these four men had as they passed through different life experiences. The author's writing approach is also commendable. I also love the way the book was structured and planned. Each chapter is designed with a distinct layout. The language employed is also simple and easy making the book more understandable and interesting. The book is filled with more enjoyable and predictable events turnover. The character development is also top-notch. I appreciate the humor created, the chronological flow of ideas, and the flawless flow of the plot.
Nothing I found absurd in the story after much deliberation. The strategy employed in this story development is quite commendable. The author used simple, understandable, and mind-capturing language which kept me reading all through. The holistic sense of reality the author employed is much captivating.
Man mission is exceptionally well edited and I am pleased to award it 5 out of 5 stars. The author wrote with conviction and a desire to help young people who are still exploring the world. I love the way he paints a picture of real-life situations.
The book would please mature teens who have the desire to explore the world. They would find this book more encouraging and of great importance because real-life themes are well addressed such as themes of marriage, career development, and love life.
