Review of Man Mission
What does it entail to be a man? Who is a man? Coming across the book Man Mission by Eytan Uliel was a total introduction to the subject of being a man. Owing to the challenges and responsibilities that come with being a man, we read about four friends who shared an annual event tagged "Man Mission." Every phase of one's life is worth enjoying because it is the memories we share that keep us going. The funny thing is that at a particular phase of one's life, we might not understand the essence of the fun we have, but in later times we begin to appreciate what we did back then. Let's take a brief look at what the man's mission was about.
The story of this book hinges on four friends, whose stories are very gripping. Fifteen years is not too much to create a lot of memories. These are friends who started way back in childhood. Eytan, who was the narrator, was amazing. He met Sam on campus and has shared with him his adventures. This gave rise to the man's mission, an adventure that focuses on the man's life's journey. As these friends age, there is a new definition of what "man's mission" is to them. There is no perfect relationship. Grab a copy of this book to read about the successes and failures of this mission.
There are a lot of likable things in this book. Firstly, it was the narrative style that caught my attention so much. It was as though it was a movie. The book also encourages men to take time out for relaxation after some periods of work. We underestimate the importance of spending time with friends, but it has healing powers. This is a very unique book that highlights different themes that affect friendship. My reading was smooth, as I did not encounter any errors. The book was well-edited. I commend the author for how the book was well organized, as there were a lot of eye-catching elements that would make readers want to read this book.
Having outlined the positives of this book, I only have one dislike that almost made me give up on it: the formatting style. It seemed like the format wasn't compatible with this book due to how it was scattered.
This book provides ideas on how to maintain a healthy relationship. Therefore, I recommend it to lovers of books on friendship and adventures. Due to the positives above, I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars
