Man Mission tells the tale of a wonderful friendship that managed to withstand the test of time. It follows the adventures of two friends in college who had the idea of going on annual vacations to exotic locations and carrying out various exerting outdoor activities like cycling, kayaking, etc. They put their plan into motion three years later, and after a few trips, they are joined by two other friends on their annual vacations. These 4 friends have continued this tradition for 15 years, and during this time, they have dealt with their real-life issues, career problems, and relationship and family issues. These vacations serve as an escape for the gang to clear their minds of their problems and relax. Can this long-lasting friendship survive the test of time? Eytan Uliel provides the answer in the pages of this book.

One thing I enjoyed about this book is the author's inclusion of maps. This helps the reader better imagine the adventures embarked upon by Eytan, Sam, Daniel, and Alec. Also, the author presents various cultures and scenes that the characters encounter. The reader will be able to experience New Zealand, the crazy but funny trip to South Africa, Japan, and so many other locations. This is one of the positive aspects of the book and the one I enjoyed the most.

Uliel's delivery of this book is rather commendable. It is difficult to say there is a boring part in this book. The book is divided into 3 sections, and none falls short of expectations. He tells the story from a first-person point of view, which helps the reader better understand the motivation behind his actions.

While the story being told from one point of view is a good thing, it also prevents the reader from diving into the minds of the other characters and understanding their actions while trying to better relate to them. While this did not hinder my enjoyment of the book, I feel it would have better delivered this incredible story.

While reading this book, I did not come across any grammatical errors, which leads me to conclude that this book was very well edited. There are instances of profanity, which is to be expected since it is a book that involves young people coming of age. I will recommend this book to all adventure and thrill seekers.

There is no reason why this book does not deserve a 5 out of 5 star rating. This is a well-executed and delivered book, and a laborer does deserve his wages after all.
