When I originally saw the title, I assumed the book would be about a man on a fruitless quest in search of something valuable, but that was far from the case. Eytan Uliel's novel Man Mission is about manhood, camaraderie, and adventures. The book chronicles the fifteen-year adventures of four men who had been friends since school days: the narrator, Sam, Daniel, and Alec. Sam suggests going on an expedition without worrying about work or being preoccupied with a phone. Sam and the narrator started first before the other two got in. Every year, they developed the habit of traveling to new locations for adventures where they would go hiking, biking, or do other activities. They traveled to destinations like New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea, and America, among others. They encounter numerous difficulties and problems throughout these journeys, which they overcome together. When they finally start having families and marriages later in life, they face marriage difficulties, and the journey ends up serving as a type of release and retreat for them.

I like the author's attention to detail. He was able to go into great depth about their travels and their exploits. I also respect the author's skill in making the book humorous and blending fact with fiction. I must admit that this book opened my eyes to the struggles that men face. Additionally, it taught me the value of friendship and spending quality time with friends. I admired the friendship of these four guys and how they stood out and shared in each other's pain.

About the book's organization, I must say it was superb. The author used a different chapter for a different adventure amidst their career and marriage lives. The writing style used was also good; it was written in first-person narrative, which helps bring the book to life. The dialogues were well written and communicated. The language used is simple and easy to understand, even for a layman. I couldn't have asked for a simpler one.

The book is exceptionally well edited, with no grammatical or typographical errors. I have no dislike for this book; everything fell into place for me. That being said, I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to men. I truly feel they should read it. I also recommend it to people who enjoy travelogues. I won't fail to add that the book contains profane words.
