Review of Man Mission
The book, Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is an epic adventure-filled novel. It takes the reader all around the world, following a group of four friends that had an idea to have an annual vacation. The idea was that they will go to exotic places, experience the food and do the toughest activities they can in the area.
The adventure starts three years after they thought of the idea, with their first official "Man Mission". After experiencing great food, a lot more adventure than they bargained for, and a few injuries, they knew it was just what they needed to get out of their routine, even though it was just a few days every year. That is how the tradition started and it went on to go on for fifteen years and fifteen action-packed adventures all around the world. Every year's new adventure brings its own set of highs and lows, times that the friends celebrate, and times when they grieved. Join the four friends as they journey around the world, eating exotic food, testing their bodies' limits, and trying to find the perfect recipe for happiness. Follow them to see if they will persevere when all odds are against them or if their fear and doubt break them.
This was a fantastic book to read! The book was mostly advertised for an audience of men, and that made me doubt that I would like it, but it was an amazing journey the author took me on in this book. The book was relatable to women as well and it deals with real-life issues that give the readers more insight into how men might think and feel. It made me understand that some people might have a challenge expressing their feelings and doubts. The book was very well written and the plot is incredible. It dealt with real issues and didn't shy away from the difficult truth. I also enjoyed that the book ranged over a long period and the reader could see how each character matured and got more relatable in each chapter. The book showed the readers that it was okay to speak up and admit that you felt helpless and overwhelmed. It showed the readers that they were not alone in their struggles and that change can be good.
The only negative aspect that stood out for me was that the digital version of the book was not well made. On one page the size of the letters is fine, but on the next, it is very small and very difficult to read with digital devices. There were no other negative aspects for me in this novel. The plot was intriguing and well-rounded with no loose ends.
I would rate this book four out of four stars and five out of five stars for all the reasons that I have mentioned above. The editors did a great job editing the novel. I found no errors as I read through the book.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading adventure novels or wants to read about traveling to different places around the world.
