Review of JTs World
Are you in search of a Western novel filled with cowboys, horses, guns, and bounty hunters? If this is what you are searching for, then JT's World by E. Alan Fleischauer is for you.
The novel talks about a wealthy business owner known as John Thurgood Thomas, formerly known as JT. He was just recovering from the loss of his beloved lover, Anabelle, who was murdered by Marcus Payne, when another incident happened at JT's grand opening and cost the lives of the coordinator of the grand opening, Mike Shipley, and two more of his workers. Left in depression and loneliness, Mr. John Thomas' adopted daughter, Madeline, urges her adopted dad to take a vacation, to leave Arizona and head to Colorado to pick up the cattle required for Billy's ranch. On his adventures in Colorado, he met Jessica, with whom he fell in love. Mr. John Thomas's archenemy, Marcus Payne, had followed him to Colorado so he would kill him. Would Marcus Payne succeed in his assassination of Mr. John Thomas? What threat faces these new lovers, Mr. John Thomas and Jessica, in Colorado? Find out more when you grab a copy of E. Alan Fleischauer's novel, JT's World.
What I love most about this novel are the plot and setting. This is my first experience reading about cowboys and bounty hunters, so I was excited when reading this novel. Also, I realized this novel is part of a series, and the author employed the use of flashbacks to enable the reader to understand Mr. John Thomas's past life and how it got him into the circumstances he is in now. I love the author's writing style; the battle scenes were detailed, which gave me an opportunity for creative imagination. The novel was filled with suspense; the author hides Marcus Payne's identity from John Thomas until he gets to Colorado when Marcus attends the murder of JT at a night party. As the story progressed, certain secrets were unveiled, like the connection between Madeline and Marcus Payne.
There was nothing that I disliked about this novel; various characters were employed in the novel as the story progressed, and John's enemy wasn't only Marcus Payne but the attorney Aamon Zamora, because Zamora was desperately in love with Jessica, and it hurts him to see Jessica with Mr. John Thomas. This was another part of the novel that I found appealing. There were no grammatical errors in this novel, and because of that, the novel was fluent and easy to comprehend.
I would give this novel a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because I did enjoy it from the beginning of the novel to the end, and I would state that this novel is exceptionally well edited because I didn't find any single grammatical error while reading this novel.
I would recommend this novel to readers who enjoy novels of adventure, action, romance, and the typical cowboy lifestyle, as these are the themes employed in the novel by E. Alan Fleischauer.
