Review of McDowell
McDowell is a work of fiction written by William H. Cole. The story revolves around the life of an arrogant and selfish doctor who was forced by life's harsh circumstances to embrace the essence of humanity.
Hiram's second wife died of breast cancer two years ago. He married Carole, a widow with children, and they had two children. Hiram is a wealthy ophthalmologist who is only concerned with himself, ignoring and openly cheating on his wife. He is always looking for more power and is willing to cheat on his colleagues to get it. When a TV journalist was assigned to research the high-profile doctor, his world of wealth, fame, and power began to crumble. His grandson was also charged with several murders. Hiram's world falls apart piece by piece. When Hiram's grandson died, he was charged with second-degree murder. Get this book to find out if Hiram was sentenced to prison and if he truly transformed himself into a better version of himself.
This uplifting book was a pleasure to read. This is a well-written book with an intriguing and original plot. Suspense and drama in the book keep the reader interested in the protagonist's life. The characters were well-developed, and I was captivated until the very end. This book is chock-full of useful information and motivational quotes. Reading this book taught me many life lessons about humanity. The dialogue between the characters aided the flow of the storyline. The book is interesting and has a well-designed, easy-to-read format. I also liked how the characters were well-developed and how each of them contributed to the story in their way. The author thoroughly explained every scene in this book.
The only flaw I discovered while reading this book was the cover. It wasn't cooperating. I believe the author should have used something captivating that is appropriate for the storyline. There are no grammatical errors in the book. It was exceptionally well-edited and punctuated. Many themes are explored in the book, including family drama, betrayal, greed, attempted suicide, and suspense. It's a story about discovering the true meaning and purpose of life. It's an uplifting book that has taught me many moral lessons.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because of the author's excellent writing style. The book is well-written and easy to read, with interesting dialogue. Because of its educational nature, I recommend this book especially to those readers looking for inspirational books and suspenseful drama.
