Review of Man Mission
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is an adventurous book about adventures in different locations. The narrator, Sam, Daniel, and Alec, had decided to go on an adventure once a year, and they went for a total of fifteen years. They have been friends since they were in school. Sam and the narrator went to New Zealand and started hiking on the Harper's Pass Trail. They explored the wilds of New Zealand for a week. Daniel and Alec didn't join them on that trip since they were tired and drunk. Daniel was married to Pamela and had two kids. Pamela worked a full-time job. Sam was married to Evie, and later the narrator married Rachel. They still had families and went on adventures at the end of each year. They went to Yasawa Island in Fiji, Seoul in South Korea, and other places. They designed rules for their adventures, such as only men should go, bathing wasn't a must, and everyone should move with their power.
Reading Eytan's descriptions of the different adventures that the four Australians went I felt like I was on those adventures too. He described the adventures well and all the things that accompany them, such as the sense of danger, for instance, the narrator and Sam's encounter with drug dealers. The adventures helped the reader explore different places worldwide even though they had not visited them. I liked that the author described the theme of friendship. The four Australians have been friends since school but continued being real friends and having fun together. They all had different lives, but their friendship never changed. Finally, I liked the maps the author included at beginning of each adventure. It helped the reader know and have a mental image of how the adventure would be. The maps summarized the adventures and the summary at the end of each chapter.
I have nothing negative to say about this book. It was a great book with well-developed characters.
I rate Man Mission by Eytan Uliel five out of five stars. The book was exceptionally well-edited because of no errors I could discover. The author described the adventures well, using maps and descriptive content to make the story as lively as possible. He brings about the theme of friendship. With all these great aspects of the book, it deserves a perfect rating.
I recommend it to people who like adventures. They would like the book since it explains the adventures in different places. The author used stylistic devices to make the adventures as enjoyable as possible.
