Even though this isn't a series I'm going to review the individual seven book as one set, because they're all the same types of black & white cartoons.

1. Wildlife Preserves (A Far Side Collection) by Gary Larson.
2. Bride of The Far Side by Gary Larson.
3. Hound of The Far Side by Gary Larson.
4. It Came From The Far Side by Gary Larson.
5. The Far Side Observer by Gary Larson.
6. Valley of The Far Side by Gary Larson.
7. Beyond The Far Side by Gary Larson.

From the first page it's evident that Gary Larson has a fantastic imagination. He took the stuff we're all familiar with, and adds a playful twist to it. (phrases, ideas that we grow up with - 'like step on a crack, breaks your mother's back' etc.)

The cartoons are off-beat, quirky, clean, and very funny; once you read a few, you'll be addicted. (and there's no off-color, etc. cartoons.) Just pure fun and laughter.

Do I recommend them? Absolutely I do - I rate it a 4.

Personally cartoons are not really my thing but I have a sister who absolutely loves Larson.
