Review of Man Mission
Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a fascinating non-fiction book, about the exciting journey of the author Eytan alongside three of his friends for fifteen years. It's an attractive book with themes of friendship, adventures, fun, humor, romance, and motivation.
The book starts off with the main protagonist Eytan and his three friends Sam, Alec, and Dan, they were close friends in college. They loved traveling together. They always dreamed about traveling together to the most beautiful places in the world. When the four of them graduated from college, they were faced with one of the most important decisions of their lives: deciding on a career path. Each of them established their personal careers and started their families. From the stress of work and caring for their individual families, they were tired and needed a break. On a fateful day, Eytan called Sam, they agreed to go for a vacation to New Zealand. Since then, despite their tight schedule, the four friends agreed to go for an adventure once a year. That how the Man mission which lasted fifteen years began. Every year they took an adventure involving daring activities, hiking, bicycling and eating of exotic foods.
I loved the friendship between Eytan, Sam, Alec and Dan, it was simply beautiful how they could remain good friends for more than a decade. It was really nice how they could discuss their individual problems and support each other. I loved each of their missions, it was thrilling to read. I also loved the author's humor in the book. Furthermore, I enjoyed the flashbacks in the book, the author really gave an in-depth description to them. The character development of the book was really exceptional, we could take note of the changes in personalities of the characters' growth through life experiences.
I loved how the book Man mission by Eytan Uliel showed us new and exciting cultures of different countries around the world through their missions, and also how the author described each of their beauties. Also loved how the author opens up each chapter with two motivational quotes. I enjoyed how the author dedicated each mission to a chapter, making it easy to read through. The narrative is quite engaging, I could feel every moment with the mission team.
There were some adult themes discussed in this book. However, they were no graphic content on the adult theme. I would rate the book 4 out of 5 stars. Due to the numerous prevalence of vulgar and profane language in the book. The book was exceptionally well edited, they were no grammatical errors.
I would recommend the book to mature readers who enjoy reading books on adventures and friendship.
