This book was great better than I ever expected honestly. There is mild profanity and small mentions of sex and drugs through out, however it adds to the story and characters amazingly. I was slightly confused and a little weirded out by some of the relationships between the characters such as "us" and the relationship we have with our friend Sam I feel borders past friendship but I'm all for it! This story has non stop adventure drama and so much detail about the beautiful scenery of different countries like Australia, New Zealand, etc. It keeps you're attention the whole time, I'd love to read more like this. I feel like we're not given enough information on the characters daniel and Alec or alec's wife Pamela, I feel Pamela is a great character who isn't utilized enough. I also don't like how our character is portrayed perse I feel it's a little annoying to read him complain most of the time, I do really love the man missions they trek like kayaking in the ocean and in Australia or biking in Japan they sound so fun and make me kind of envious myself. The profanity is very frequent in this book every other page having a few curse words more than I feel was needed in some areas but it doesn't bother me personally. I didn't find any misprints or mis spelling of any kind and I love the personal touch of the map views of the expeditions I think it helps to visualize the trip. I love the details of the beautiful scenes set before the reader with the natural forest roadways and vast beauty of the country side of many nations, 5 out of 5. I'll definitely re read this book!!

Reading about the many places these four men visited was intriguing. I laughed with them, wowed with them, worried with them, and learned a lot from their experience. Indeed, this book says a lot about friendship. Interesting review.
