Review of Man Mission
Life on campus does not revolve solely around books. It is beneficial to make time for recreational pursuits with companions. This can help you form friendships and discuss your life concerns. This is what Eytan Uliel's Man Mission offers its readers. The story starts with Sam and the narrator, two friends who have chosen to go on a trip to New Zealand. As this is their first visit, they face some difficulties, the most serious of which is the narrator's knee injury suffered while hiking. They subsequently persuaded two other friends, Daniel and Alec, to accompany them on subsequent trips. They used to go on annual excursions and took it so seriously that they created rules to direct them during their journeys. They traveled to Australia, Thailand, and Iceland, among other places. During the trips, they did not engage in leisure activities alone; they also discussed their life stories and counseled each other on various issues. The book also explores their family lives, careers, relationships, and sexual lives.
On the plus side, I enjoyed how the tale started. Uliel included maps of the locations the four friends visited and pictures of the activities they participated in during their adventures. This allowed me to visualize and comprehend the sites visited. Throughout the book, there is also a sense of humor. For example, I liked how they feared cows and grabbed their weapons, ready to battle back. I liked how the tension was built up, mainly when Sam and the narrator first felt peril. The author’s writing style was superb; there were turns and twists, and he switched smoothly from one scene to another. The flashbacks also provided more information about the character’s quality of life. It is educational on various aspects of life, such as family, career, and even how friendship should be. The novel was exceptionally well edited since there were no grammatical errors.
There was nothing about this novel that did not satisfy me. Though there was a lot of profanity, it was typical of the characters because they were youthful and of the current generation.
I had no problems with this book and thoroughly liked it. As a result, I award it a flawless five out of five stars.
The book is filled with adventures in gorgeous locations around the globe. As a result, I recommend the book to anyone who enjoys adventure. Young college students will also benefit from the book, as it will teach them how to form alliances and take on duties in their future lives.
