To be an adult, one has to deal with the ordeal that goes along with it, although it's an interesting phase of life. Man Mission: Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey by Eytan Uliel is a book that talks about four men and their transition from young men to adults, and how they struggle to make their adult lives easy.

This book tells the story of four men who traveled the world annually. The main character of the book had a fantasy of annual vacations, which he shared with Sam, whom he met in law school. Three years later, the fantasy became a reality. Their first location was New Zealand, followed by Japan, Australia, and the rest of the world. It was an adventurous vacation, though there were setbacks and unavoidable situations that didn't dampen their spirits. Alec and Daniel decided to join the crew, after which they were enlightened about the former vacations. But now, the young men have a family to build and will need the wives' committee's approval before their next vacation. Now that they have families to consider, will the trips still be an annual occurrence as originally planned, and will the wives' committee approve of their next vacation? Read this book to find out.

This book is a wonderful piece of work by Etyan Uliel. The transition of the book is one to be admired by book writers. It reminds me of the transitions in life. From law school to work-life experience and family, just like from kindergarten to adulthood. I loved how the four men were united as friends even when adulthood experiences took a toll on them; they still found their way to unite together. I loved Sam's character in this book. He was a mean friend in his ways with the main character, but that didn't hide his kind nature. I also like how the author transitions from the present to the past and then back to the present, especially when it's a trip scene. Another thing that moved me was the author's choice of words. I hardly visited my dictionary, even if it required me to, because of the way the author presented each sentence. It was comprehensible.

There are many things I wish to say about the book that moved me. I had a clear imagination, and I didn't struggle to understand the author's language. I got to learn new ideas even if, in the future, I decide to go on an expedition. Japan will be a good idea because it was a heartwarming trip as I read that part of the book. I also love the unique ways the author introduces each character in the book. The idea of presenting a map of the next trip before the next chapter was intriguing. The book was so interesting that I couldn't get enough of it. Since there's nothing to dislike about the book and because it was exceptionally well-edited, I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to everyone who loves learning new things and who wishes to sail around the world to know good spots to visit. It's also recommended to everyone who loves reading travel books.

I am currently reading the book and I have to say it is really fun. It's interesting to see that people as a group can do much more even when they have their struggles in life. I loved your review and can't wait to finish the book.
