[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "Secrets of the lost jaguar - Episode one" by Pat S. Clarke.]
Secrets for the Lost Jaguar - Episode One by Pat S. Clarke is a science fiction novel that depicts the tale of a Shaman, also known as Kaituk by the Indian tribe; he was regarded as a spiritual being and an intercessor for the Indian tribes that resided in the Amazon jungle.
The story began in 1934, when professor Gustav de Guzman, an anthropologist, and scientist, along with his wife Maria, a professor of biochemistry and genetics, and son Luiz de Guzman, a Ph. D. holder in internal medicine and genetics, took a private trip to the Amazon jungle in Brazil, South America, in search of the missing lab that holds the secret to the advanced technology of the Atlanteans and the lives that don't exist in the modern world. An unfortunate event happened, and the planes crashed into the Amazon jungle, killing Professor Gustav and Maria. Lucky for Luiz, he survived. It was a mystery to him; perhaps it was the emblem of a jaguar given to him by his father, Gustav. Being left alone in the Amazon jungle, how is life going to treat the young professor? Is there truly a mystery behind the jaguar's emblem? Find out more when you grab a copy of the novel Secrets of the Lost Jaguar - Episode One by Pat S. Clarke.
It was amazing to enjoy the gradual development of the storyline of this novel. Starting from the beginning of this novel, Luiz was a character I least expected to be a major character until after the accident, when I realized that he was the central character for this novel. The author's narrated account of Luiz Guzman's experience in the jungle intrigued me, starting from his moment of trekking in the scorching sun and the challenging encounters he had at the mountainside. My emotions were triggered as well; I had a feeling of euphoria as I read every chapter of Luiz Guzman in the Jungle. I also admired the relationship between Luiz and Professor Johanne Servino. From their first encounter, it was clear that they were fated to meet and fall in love. Despite his change in lifestyle due to his exposure to wildlife, Johanne loved Luiz deeply.
Stating that I found facts dislikeable about this novel is false; I enjoyed my experience reading this novel, and I am also anticipating the next episode of this novel. It was interesting, suspense-filled, and had unpredictable scenes, which was appealing to me.
Secrets of the Lost Jaguar - Episode One by Pat S. Clarke is a worthwhile novel, and I would state that this novel deserves a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. It was professionally edited, and my reason for stating that is the few errors that I encountered in the course of reading this novel.
For lovers of science fiction, action, and mystery genres, I would recommend this novel to those groups of readers, as the themes listed above are the genres used in this novel. I would also recommend this novel to readers who enjoy reading novels about ancient lost secrets and treasures, as I believe they would find this novel appealing.
