Review of Man Mission
Eytan Uliel's fictional work, Man Mission, is a captivating read that chronicles exciting tales of adventure and camaraderie. The book delves into the various shenanigans that individuals, predominantly men, engage in after a long day at work. By shedding light on the clandestine side of men that they typically conceal, the author provides readers with a unique perspective. The narrative explores how men struggle to balance conforming to societal norms with their desire to prioritize their family's needs. Through the book, readers are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, take chances, and have novel experiences such as travelling and sampling international cuisine.
In the book, Eytan recounts his experiences along with his three close buddies, Sam, Daniel, and Alec. The narrative is told from Eytan's perspective as he shares their annual week-long escapades, which typically involve stops in exciting locations such as New Zealand, South Africa, Vietnam, and Iceland. The group has a penchant for adventure and prefers to engage in high-energy activities like hiking, camping, cycling, kayaking, and even ice climbing during their travels. Although the friends have taken on more responsibilities as they've grown older, with family and work commitments, their annual tradition has become more than just an adventure. It now serves as a source of hope and support amidst the challenges of daily life.

The book had nothing to dislike about this book, and I found it to be quite informative. Thanks to the humorous tone of the writing, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the entire book, even though it was quite lengthy. The author's mastery of describing and narrating the setting and characters' actions in great detail made the novel all the more captivating. It was refreshing to witness men depicted as they truly are, and this added to the book's overall appeal. All in all, it was a delightful experience to read this book.
