Growing up, I had a dream. A dream of traveling the world and visiting the most exotic and dangerous places with my friends and family. In his book Man Mission: Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey, Eytan Uliel tells us a story of four young men as they traverse the world. The book is divided into three chapters and ends with an epilogue.

The story unfolds across diverse destinations such as New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Spain, Thailand, South Africa, Korea, Vietnam, the United States of America, and Peru. As it is with any other journey, they faced some difficulties. They encountered wild animals and drug dealers. However, all these challenges are immensely balanced by the joy and excitement they find in activities like hiking, cycling, and kayaking. The story takes an unexpected turn in the last part as tragedy strikes two of the four friends leading to the collapse of their marriages.

I liked how the Author explored the theme of friendship and camaraderie. Having fogged the friendship while in law school, the four friends managed to keep it behind its walls. They are always there for one another. This journey serves as a reunion and a chance for them to create new memories. I also liked the narrator's sense of humor, especially how he narrated where his wife woke him up in the middle of the night to satisfy her pregnancy cravings.

I didn't particularly appreciate how the author explored the characters. Though the book offered glimpses into their personalities and struggles, I felt that a deeper exploration into their individual growth would have added additional emotional layers to the reader.

I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This is because it was well-paced, keeping me glued to it. The book was also exceptionally well edited, as I encountered no grammatical errors or typos.

Lastly, I recommend this book to anyone who loves traveling and making new memories. I would also recommend it to those who enjoy reading adventure books.
