Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is an enjoyable travel memoir documenting the adventure and friendship of four men: Daniel, Alec, Norseman, and the narrator. The book tells the story of a fifteen-year epic trip filled with exciting incidents taken by the four friends. It all started in New Zealand, when Sam and the narrator went hiking. It explores their development from young boys to men.

The four friends encounter many difficulties in life; two of the four friends' marriages ended, and their lives turned out to be miserable, and they must all find solutions to move forward. In the end, they found healing for their problems. They developed a thought when they were at school. The thought was known as “man’s mission,” and it had a straightforward goal. It was a male retreat. As a result of the four friends’ adventures, they visited New Zealand, Spain, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Hawaii, Fiji Island, and other locations.

I liked the way the author portrayed his characters; from one part to another, the characters were well-built. The book’s diverse topics, such as friendship, marriage, and adventure, are recommendable. The cover page also provides insights for the reader to read since it is eye-catching. Another component of the book worth noting is the table of contents, which divides it into three sections and subsections and provides the reader with a summary of the entire work.

The author’s writing style is captivating and evocative. I finished the book and couldn't think of any flaws in this superbly crafted work. The book’s storyline is broad and diverse; the editing of the book has been professionally done, and there were no major errors or typos while I read this meticulous book. I’d be happy to award this book a five out of five stars rating since there is nothing I dislike about the book. It presents an extremely original viewpoint on male friendship and the meaning of life. The book is enjoyable to read since it strikes a wonderful balance between seriousness and comedy.

Anyone who appreciates memoirs, books about friendship, or adventure stories should read Man Mission, in my opinion. Men who are looking for a story that will relate to their own experiences are especially well-suited for this book.
