A lucky day, Eytan; the protagonist, and the author of this story, meets Sam; the person who would become one of his most precious friends, and share his great dream. A dream that consisted of living adventures with his friends, traveling through different parts of the world. This thought was forgotten until many years later, unexpectedly, Sam started a great tradition, when Eytan, and Sam, along with their two other friends, Daniel, and Alec, embarked on this series of extreme adventures, Man Mission: "Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey", which would last fifteen years, and was written to become immortal, by Eytan Uliel.

Man Mission, at first glance, is the story of four friends which get together every year to see new countries, and do extreme activities. However, it goes much further, the author delved into his reality, experience, and feelings. Eytan narrates the evolution that each of them had, from their adolescence to adulthood, as the reading progresses you know the personality of the protagonists, their ups, and downs. In conclusion, it is not just an adventure book, it is the story of four men with great friendships which supported each other, and were loyal to each other, from the simplest to the most important.

Mainly, I am going to highlight as a positive aspect the high value of friendship, companionship, and loyalty that this book presents, since they are a group of true friends. For me, it is something very significant, and valid. The fact that this group boldly, and courageously embarked on these great adventures seems admirable to me. On the other hand, the description, and development of the characters are very well done. The description of the landscapes, and the environment, I could imagine. And also, it has many parts that I found funny, such as when the group of drug traffickers were the heroes of Eytan, I just thought, how lucky he is! And when they were overcharged, and given a “bonus”, unbelievably funny.

Regarding some aspect that I disliked, I am personally upset regarding some personal decisions made by the narrator, in my opinion they did not have any justification. In any case, it is the narrative of personal stories, and questioning these decisions already corresponds to other topics. Also, it was difficult for me to maintain continuity in my reading, because despite the fact that it started out fascinating, too many things were incorporated those were irrelevant to the plot, so it lost interest.

It is worth mentioning that the reading contains profanity, everyday realities of some couples, and a slight sexual content. Therefore, I recommend this book to adult readers who like adventures in nature; it might give you some good ideas to try on your next trip. If you don't like reading about some aspects mentioned, please refrain from reading this book, and look for other options. This book is very well edited, throughout the reading I did not get any errors.

In conclusion, I highlight the high degree of loyalty, and camaraderie that this group of friends demonstrates, the perseverance, and daring in each adventure, which I consider to be extreme. For all these reasons, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Also, I emphasize that it is not a book for tourists which want to see the world, it is a book for adventurers which want to live their days to the fullest.

I was skeptical of my parents when they told me of the advantages of college friendships. They were right and even though I don’t see those people often, I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

Thank you for the review Bettny! It was indeed a good story. 😄 The main theme of friendship was great as well. I like the short recaps at the end (the journey and injuries sustained).

The injuries seemed funny to me, almost everything happened to him, almost always.

I liked how you well described the right audience to the book. I read it before, I liked the idea of travelling and get away for some time but I can understand a little bit your dislikes. Well written review Bettny.

Thank you so much. Yes, this type of adventure is not for everyone. I am enthusiastic about traveling, but only as a tourist, and visiting beautiful places. nothing extreme.

I'm glad you enjoyed reading the book, Bettny! I loved reading about their adventures over the years. It was good to see their loyalty and faithfulness towards each other and the tradition, but the narrator's unfaithfulness to his partner triggered me. I also thought Alec was definitely not a person one could take advice from. Thank you for the detailed review and for including the potential triggers!

I completely agree with you, the issue of infidelity for me was not correct at all, it did not make sense. Maybe that's why Alec was so quiet when the protagonist mentioned the subject to his group.
