Do you love adventure? Man Mission: 4 Men, 15 Years, 1 Epic Journey by Eytan Uliel is a story about four men experiencing life together. The men have been friends since their youth and have navigated through dating, marriage, and careers together. Each year, they go on a different journey. They started by visiting New Zealand during their first year, then Japan, followed by Australia. The themes addressed in the book are friendship, love, and, adventure.

Eytan and Sam met when Sam offered to accompany him to a food fair in college. Eytan tells Sam about his desire for adventure, and they realize they share the same dreams. Daniel and Alec join them later on their first trip to New Zealand. They go biking in Japan, kayaking in Australia, and exploring national parks in South Africa. In each adventure, they discovered something new. They set rules to guide them in their adventures.

I love the male friendship in the book. They were able to encourage each other in every aspect, especially family issues. I love the way they also balanced family, career, and adventure. The author's sense of humor kept the plot flowing. The way the men would sit down and laugh about life was interesting. Eytan remembers the time his pregnant wife sent him out to get her baklava and later trashed it. The author also used simple language, which made the book easy to understand.

I disliked nothing about the book. I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars because I found no grammatical errors or typos in it. The plot buildup makes me give it a perfect rating. The author includes maps of the places they visited, which made me take pictures of them while reading.

I recommend this book to lovers of adventure. I also recommend it to a mature audience because of the profanity in it. There is a lot to learn from the book. It teaches that men should express themselves emotionally. Eytan's mother was very supportive when he divorced his wife and would always encourage him to express himself.
