Man Mission, written by Eytan Uliel, is a fiction that describes four friends—the protagonist, Sam, Alec, and Daniel—who met each other in college and nursed the idea of traveling around the world together. Some years after they graduated college, their wishful thinking became a reality, first with just Sam and the protagonist. After the first mission, which ended badly, the other two joined, and in the following years, these men set aside time each year to travel, explore, and partake in several manly adventures.

Over the next fifteen years, these four men transitioned from bachelors into husbands and fathers. Man Mission soon went from being just a fun trip to being an opportunity to find and redefine their purposes as they shared their good and bad moments and tried to find solutions to them. Read this book to find out more about the adventures of these men over the past fifteen years.

There were so many things I enjoyed about this book. First, I loved the detailed description of the various places these men traveled to and the diverse cultures, foods, and people they came across in each of the places. The structural organization of this book was another thing I liked about it. Each chapter described each mission, the events of the previous year after the last mission, and the present mission of that year, beautifully interwoven into such an enthralling masterpiece that enabled me to keep up with their lives.

I appreciate the writing style of this book, as it was written in the first person. Also, the maps of the places visited by these men and quotes from the Bible and contemporary men that the author included at the beginning of each chapter were other things I liked about this book. The lessons to be learned from this book cannot be emphasized enough. I loved how the author described the bond and connection between these friends and how much he shed light on the adverse effects of the societal stereotype about men. I learned from this book that men have emotions and feelings and should be allowed to express themselves.

There was nothing to dislike about this book, and I didn't find any errors while reading, so I can say that this book is exceptionally well-edited. On that note, I’ll rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Moreso, I wouldn’t fail to add that there were some profane words and references to some mature content, which, although making this book unsuitable for younger audiences, was necessary for the storyline. I recommend this book to mature readers who love adventure and are interested in self-discovery.
