I yearn to experience the innocence and obliviousness of childhood once again, as it holds irreplaceable value. Adulthood has taught me countless lessons, and it continues to enlighten me with each passing day.

Man Mission revolves around the story of four Australian men embarking on an annual escapade to a foreign land, seeking an adventure beyond their comfort zones. Each leads a unique life with its ups and downs, involving marriage, parenting, and finances. The narrative focuses on an unnamed protagonist and his companions: Sam, Daniel, and Alec. The journey begins when Sam proposes the idea of a food adventure, and along the way, they encounter diverse people, cultures, and challenges. These include serious injuries (particularly for the protagonist, who lacks experience in outdoor activities) and mind-boggling encounters with nature. Their escapades range from the wild and terrifying to the confidence-boosting acts that symbolize their mature pursuit of joy. They engage in activities such as hiking on mountain trails in New Zealand, kayaking in the open sea of Fiji, catamaran sailing in Thailand, biking in the pouring rain in Korea, and even coming face-to-face with a leopard in Africa. Ultimately, the mission trip not only offers them an enjoyable time with friends but also prompts them to redefine their concepts of manhood, family, and friendship.

Eytan Uliel's Man Mission chronicles the exhilarating and humorous odyssey of four friends over a span of fifteen years. This book masterfully combines adventure, friendship, dedication, and fiction, taking readers on an entertaining ride through breathtaking locations and outrageous escapades that these men undertake to break free from the monotony of their daily lives and gain new experiences.

The novel deeply captivated me through its portrayal of the unwavering bonds of friendship and unity shared by the four men who genuinely care for one another. I found the humor and teamwork depicted in the story to be thoroughly enjoyable, and the book effectively highlighted the men's quest for acceptance within the "wives' community," which fosters a sense of solidarity among women. The depiction of their struggles, anxieties, and challenges was profoundly moving, keeping me engrossed from start to finish.

With its seamless blend of comedy, valuable insights, and fast-paced adventure, I couldn't find any faults or dislikes with this book, so I wholeheartedly rate it 5 out of 5 stars. Eytan Uliel has undoubtedly delivered an exceptional edited piece of work. I highly recommend Man Mission to married women, as it provides a deeper understanding of what it means to be a man. I also encourage men and adventure enthusiasts to read it, as it offers a delightful and thrilling experience.

What I love about this book is the fact that the friends were able to connect together even after being long separated after they graduate from college and fulfil the promise made to one another.
