Review of Man Mission
Are you an adventurous type? Most people seem to be overstressed with work and would like to have some free time with their friends. Do you also feel the same way? If so, you would enjoy reading about a group of adventurers who took time away from work each year to embark on risky adventures. You might even get ideas from them. We read about these four men in Man Mission. It was written by Eytan Uliel. The book was written with a first-person pronoun.
A group of friends had formed a crew called the Man Mission Committee. They engaged in risky vacations to various places, where they spent days away from their families and work. They hiked, cycled, trekked, paddled, and kayaked at different times each year and in different locations. This proved to be truly interesting for the four friends. They generated rules and regulations for their newly formed committee, and they made vital statistics for the adventures they had embarked on. Roles were assigned to each member of the group, and things went smoothly among them. However, one of these friends had been struggling with feelings of inadequacy and unhappiness. Was there a chance for him to be truly happy?
On one of their adventures in Africa, they encountered a magnificent beast. It was an elephant that was surveying its royal domain. Fortunately, they had adhered to the advice of a guide by remaining calm and trying not to look frightened. I found that advice ridiculous and not doable. But interestingly, their reaction to this situation saved their lives, as the elephant halted his charge and turned his back on them. Read the book to find out the dozens of experiences they had as they embarked on sojourns to mostly notable places. It was thrilling to read about these events. They embarked on a total of fifteen interesting, risky vacations, experiencing various injuries and challenges.
There was one thing I disliked in this book. Aside from the places they went, the author also talked about their regular lives. That was fascinating. However, I did not like the way he would unexpectedly cut the story short to start talking about the other. It would have been better if he had done these in chapters while making sure that one story was adequately ended before starting another one. The book contained lively details and energetic scenes. It showed the importance of friendship and family life. There were a few main characters, and I found it easier to keep up with the story.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I found no errors. It was exceptionally well-edited. The book was not boring at all. The adventures of the friends were fun to read. The book also contained suspense. It was intriguing to read. There were no misunderstandings while reading the book. I recommend this book to fans of adventurous, exciting books.
