Review of Man Mission
The story reports the adventures of four friends for fifteen years and lets readers see the events through the eyes of Eytan. The story follows four friends: Eytan, Sam, Alec, and Dan, who love traveling and the adventures that come with it. After college, they all went their separate ways, building careers and families. Life became tough as they faced challenges while providing for their families. One day, Sam called Eytan, and they came up with the idea of the Man Mission. They decided to go on an adventure trip every year to escape the pressures of life. During these trips, they discussed their work struggles and family lives. The book shows how they supported each other during tough times.
The journey of fatherhood was particularly challenging for them. Balancing their jobs and caring for their newborns led to sleepless nights and exhaustion. The author addressed managing sexual urges as a husband, especially when a wife is uninterested in sex after childbirth. I like the idea of self-sex with the assistance of the nursing wife immediately after childbirth instead of cheating which might lead to divorce. Man Mission became a much-needed break for them to recharge and rediscover their adventurous spirits.
As the years passed, they faced the dilemma of being good fathers while pursuing personal goals and dreams. The book portrays the emotional struggles and vulnerability they experienced. The imagery delivered by the author in this book is graphical and vivid. I like the imagery. Readers will partake in the Man Mission adventure when they read this book. I did not dislike anything in the book; it is a report of Eytan and his friends for not less than fifteen years.
Eytan Uliel skillfully depicts the emotions of these fathers as they navigate the complexities of fatherhood. The story emphasizes the importance of friendship and support during challenging times. I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars because it encourages, enlightens, and suggests life matters and relationship ideas to readers. The book is also exceptionally edited for a smooth reading experience.
In conclusion, Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a heartwarming tale that delves into the realities of fatherhood and the importance of friendship. It honestly portrays men's struggles when becoming fathers and balancing family life with personal aspirations. I recommend the book to bachelors intending to get married and readers who desire real-life adventures.
