Recommend a fantasy, adventure, or magical books

Post by bloodymarykath »

Hi All...I am a newbie here. I would like to ask of any fantasy, adventure, or magical books that were released between 2007 and 2008.

I hope you could recommend some.

Thanks in advance.

I like Bartimeus' Trilogy by Jonatan Srtout. By I don't know when it was released, sorry. These books are really interesting and fantastic. Recommend them to everybody here!

Any recent R.A. Salvatore book, but you really have to start at the beginning with the Drizzt series.

Also, take a look at Peter V. Brett's The Warded Man. Excellent book and just released I believe.

well if you don't mind reading or reserching the other 15-14 books in the series
I'd suggest

Blood Noir
&
The Harlequin By Laurell.K.Hamilton

There part of the Anita Blake vampire hunter series

I don't know when some of these were released exactly but all are new-ish

Cornelia Funke's Inkheart/Inkspell/Inkdeath series
Eoin Colfer's Supernaturalist...Airman is good too
Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book
Rick Riordan's series about Percy Jackson and the Olympians

I am closing this thread. Please continue the conversation and continue recommending and discussing fantasy books in the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Books sticky thread.

Please see the new rules for the "Reviews, Recommendations and Warnings" section. All new threads need to be limited to 1 book or series per thread. To discuss multiple books from a genre or ask for recommendations, use the sticky thread for that genre.

Thanks,
Scott
