Review of Man Mission
What came to mind after reading this book is that you will never know what you can or can’t do until you try. A group of individuals resolved to go on wild adventures in dangerous places around the world. Man Mission is a book by Eytan Uliel that features suspense, adventure, friendship, relationships, culture, and family.
Sam and the narrator became friends from their college days, and one day, the narrator shared a fantasy with Sam about them going on journeys and adventures around the world. Sam was in love with the idea, but it died down for a while. And then, three years later, while the narrator was busy with work, he got a call from Sam, who reminded them of their former plans and urged them to commence immediately. And this became the birth of the man Mission, where both of them and some other men visited different places around the globe. Grab a copy of this book to find out the places they went and what they experienced.
The book was void of the traditional division into chapters. Instead, the author divided the book in such a way that there were three parts, and each part contained five missions. The book has a very comprehensive table of contents, and the author introduced each mission with a quote and a Bible verse. There was also a short, intriguing part of that mission in the introduction. He used this to facilitate suspense.
This book is a detailed account of how the men toured different places in the world, like the USA, New Zealand, Thailand, South Korea, Spain, South Africa, and others. It narrated their experiences in these places and the individual challenges they faced, like getting injured, finding a partner, and making decisions relating to life, profession, and marriage. The author was very thorough, such that he included maps of the places they visited and their routes, as well as a charter that was to guide their missions. It brought smiles to my face, as it was like bro codes. The periods when they each tried to hide their tiredness during missions were also funny.
The only thing that did not go well with me was that the book was lengthy. However, this is covered by how interesting and relevant each piece of content was. Therefore, I give this book a full rating of five out of five stars. I also found no errors in it, which shows that it was exceptionally well-edited.
I recommend this book to adventure and thriller lovers. Friends and families can also get inspiration for trips from this book. It was a delightful read.
