Over fifteen years, four men travel all over the world on an all-male trip. Across the continents of Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, North America and South America, these friends engage in challenging activities while living under very rugged conditions. The trips occur once a year, always span a few days and help them escape from the realities of their lives. The friends also believe that undertaking challenging tasks on these trips will help them become better, stronger men. However, despite all that, they still feel deep within that there is something missing.

Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is a book about adventure, friendship, mental health, loss, pain, second chances and the struggles many men undergo in finding their purpose in life. The book is narrated from a first-person perspective and this gives us deeper insight into the narrator's thoughts, feelings and motivations. We see how and why he makes some of the choices he does. This book takes the reader on a journey with the men. It shows us the adventures the men undertake but also what happens in their personal lives and how they are affected deeply by these experiences.

I enjoyed reading this book. The editor did a phenomenal job as I did not find a single typographical or grammatical error while reading the book. This made reading a pleasurable experience for me. I felt immersed in the story and was easily able to visualise the places the men travelled to because of the author's simple description style. Also, the firsthand account of the story made it more realistic and interesting. I liked learning about new places in the world and felt inspired to visit new places and try new things. This is my favourite thing about the book.

The formatting was quite off, but that probably had to do with the Epub version I downloaded and not the actual book. In general, there was nothing I disliked about this book. For the aforementioned reasons, I rate the book five out of five stars.

I recommend this book to those who enjoy learning about new places or like the thought of going on adventures. Men who struggle with finding themselves, their purpose in life, or finding happiness will benefit hugely from this book. Those who are triggered by instances of animal killings may not want to read it.
