Review of The Atlantis Cure
The Atlantis Cure by Pierce Roberts is a thrilling adventure that takes you on a journey to uncover the secrets of the lost city of Atlantis. The story follows Joseph Blackfeather and his friends who have been tasked by his Atlantean ancestors to stop the endless stream of evildoers, called destroyers, dedicated disciples of Satan, hell-bent on bringing their evil schemes to eliminate government and humanity.
In their bid to restore the health of the world. They found a single piece of information, a gift to mankind tens of thousands of years old waiting to be discovered. A valuable knowledge that might save mankind from a deadly disease.
So Kate a bio-epidemiologist led an eclectic team of investigators that included: her husband, Tom, a busy dairy veterinarian, Dr. Brad Upton, a bull of a man; Dr. Jules LeClerc, director of Le Institute Pasteur; Dr. Jean DuBois of Les Archives National; two-time Nobel laureate and geneticist Dr. Fred Garrett of Ohio State University; retired FBI Agent Rick Sullivan; and Joseph Blackfeather, who is of Atlantean descent to stop the so-called destroyers.
What I loved the most about the book is the author’s attention to detail, It immerses you in the story. The detailed descriptions make you feel like you're right there alongside the character. It keeps you hooked from beginning to end.
The characters in the book are also incredibly well-developed. Each character has a unique personality and motivations, which adds depth and complexity to the story. You’ll find yourself cheering for them, feeling their setbacks and winnings. While also becoming invested in their journey.
The pacing of the book is also spot on, with a perfect balance of action and suspense. There are plenty of exhilarating moments that will keep you on the edge of your seat, as well as thought-provoking scenes that explore deeper themes of friendship and the power of knowledge.
One thing to note is that The Atlantis Cure; the Secret of the Message Stone by Pierce Roberts is the fourth installment of the Destroyer series, so I recommend starting from the first book to fully appreciate the story and the character's development. But don’t worry, each part can be read as a stand-alone. It is so captivating that it will leave you eager to read the whole series.
There is nothing I hate about the book. It was a delightful read that transported me to a world full of wonder and excitement.
Overall, I am giving this book a 4 out of 5 stars. I would love to give it full stars, but there are some typing errors in the book.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves adventure, mystery, and a touch of mythology. It has a captivating storyline and engaging characters that can appeal to a wide range of readers. If you’re looking for an exciting, thrilling, and immersive read. Then The Atlantis Cure by Pierce Roberts is definitely worth checking out.
