My question is, do all these continue on as one story?

Hey Sharie_K. Both "Prelude to Dune" and "Legends of Dune" are set before the original Dune series. Both series are brilliant, especially Legends. "Prelude" is set just before the original series, where "Legends" goes way back to when man is fighting the machines.Shari_K wrote:Interesting that this topic is here. I recently saw the new book that came out for the Dune series, I was always interested in this but have only seen the movie. The other day, I picked up the Dune book and am planning to read it. I did wonder about all the sequels to it and how it is. I guess there are two sets, one that was written by the original author, and the other's that were written by the son.
My question is, do all these continue on as one story?
