Ok a year or so ago a read this truly amzing book but for some reason or another it's not very well known so i havent been able to find it at my highschool library and no one i know seems to have read, to make matters worse i CANT REMEMBER WHAT IT WAS CALLED! or the authors name so somone PLEASE tell me if this sunds familiar.

Mages who live forever by feeding of the life force of randomly selected humans, the first ever female mage comes int existance and unkowingly feeds off of the prince of a rather powerful country, in the end the prince, his older brother and his father all die and the preist brother is summoned to act as king. All mages (or are they called wizards in this book?) start as witches and they can use magic by spending their own heart energy.

Ohh, hehe, I forgot. You might like the series Dhampir by Barb and J.C. Hendee. It has vampires, magick, and mages, Also spirits and stuff like that. LAter there are also elves!! It was a really good series. Okay i'm done now.
