I just finished this book 2 days ago and find myself going back over it in my mind. I have to say it was one of the worst books I've read in the last 5 years. So much could have been done with this story but the author failed to find a way to make it work. The story was all over the place and the characters are many and their interactions are suspect. The plot is as confusing at the end of the story as it was at the beginning.

At the end I was left with this question running through my mind "Why?"

Why did I read this?

Why didn't the author end this book in a thousand other ways it could have ended?

Why would anyone recommend this book to anyone else?

In a word.. Bad

I have also read this book, and was left more disappointed than anything. The plot was so convoluted that I had such a hard time keeping the "big picture" in my head. I kept getting the characters confused because there were so many to keep track of who were doing similar things at the same time. I agree, very bad, indeed.

I know and some of the main characters seemed to have nothing to do with the plot. And like I said, the ending really sucked big time. I asked myself at the end "what was the point?"
I'll never read anything by this author again. waste of time.
