Have you ever considered that we are reliving our former lives or maybe reincarnating? While some would think it's plausible, others might think the person is insane or suffering from autism-like reasoning. Ayn Cates Sullivan's book Nimue: Freeing Merlin tells the story of Nina, a seventeen-year-old girl, and how she solves the mysteries surrounding her life and that of her family.

This is the story of a seventeen-year-old girl who sees herself in her dreams, running away from a woman in shimmering green clothing who refers to her as a mage. Nina woke up from her sleep and wondered why the woman in green kept disturbing her while she slept. While she was thinking, her mother yelled her name, reminding her of their flight to Britain later that evening.

Nina had lost her dad, Felix, and she was relocating with her mom to their home country. Her mother was an expert in Celtic mythology, and they would spend the summer with Nina's uncle Blaise, her mom's twin brother, a professor at King's College. On their arrival in Hampstead, England, Nina began to ask questions, and Daphne, her uncle's friend, referred her to Ganieda. This is where her quest began, which you will find out by getting a copy of Nimue: Freeing Merlin.

This book didn't disappoint me, as it contained a lot of mystery about Celtic and Merlin as the King of Celtic Magic. The characters in the book are so relatable, and I love how the author connected our modern world with ancient times. I learned about solstices like Samhain, which is the beginning of winter, which was enlightening. I believe that anyone who reads this book will learn about "Druids," "Ovates," and "Bards," and I must commend the author for his excellent work in putting this book together.

I have nothing negative about this book, and I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. The book was also professionally edited, as I encountered very few errors that did not disrupt my reading experience. I recommend this book to anyone who loves books written with mystery and history because this book was very enlightening.
