Any fans of Laurel K Hamilton will definitly want to read the latest installment in the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series. Even if you have never heard of Hamilton, I would suggest picking up this book. Hamilton is an amazing writer. She is so captivating and makes you feel like you are really there. You feel the emotions that the characters feel and you can see all of the details that they see. Skin Trade has to be one of the best books in the Anita Blake series since the beginning. It has just the right combination of fantasy, horror, action, mystery, erotica, romance and suspense. Any fans of the series may be disappointed to find that Jean Claude and Richard are not very active in this book at all. They are mentioned, but they are not main characters by any means. However, the new characters that are introduced and the expansion of the old characters makes up for the lack of Anita's vampire and werewolf lovers.
