? Heard a LOT of good things about this gigantic book.

You know, it's always been on my list, everyone always seems to say it's one you should not die without reading. I suppose it's worth reading for that purpose alone! I love reading books that have any kind of hype, just to form my own opinion. At any rate, what do you have to lose? (Especially if you start it with a library book, you won;t even lose money).
