AfterLife: There Will Be Trouble/i] by E. Vince

"AfterLife: There Will Be Trouble" by E. Vince is a thought-provoking exploration of a benevolent God's coexistence and evil's presence. Divided into three books, the narrative unfolds both on Earth and in Paradise, offering a unique perspective through the eyes of an angel who traverses between the two realms. The subtitle, "There Will Be Trouble," serves as a powerful theme, portraying trouble not as malevolence but as a catalyst for the growth and refinement of the soul.

E. Vince, a frustrated artist turned author, brings a wealth of experience and depth to the narrative. With over 40 years as a microelectronic scientist/engineer, a mixed-race background, and personal challenges, Vince infuses the story with authenticity and a nuanced understanding of the human condition.

The foreword sets the stage for a literary pilgrimage, describing the afterlife as a vibrant spectrum of experiences, challenges, and revelations. Vince's narrative prowess turns the afterlife into a cosmic stage, where characters grapple with earthly tribulations, and celestial forces orchestrate a symphony that transcends the mundane.

The preface delves into the universal concern of the coexistence of a good God and evil, presenting a theodicy to address the age-old question. Vince skillfully navigates the theological aspects, addressing objections and emphasising the redemption of God in the hearts and minds of fallen humanity.

The book is divided into five parts with 48 chapters, each chapter providing a glimpse into the lives of diverse characters facing existential challenges. The writing is compelling, with philosophical depth and creative expression converging in a literary odyssey that explores fundamental questions of purpose, redemption, and interconnectedness.

The inclusion of a foreword and preface enhances the reader's understanding and engagement with the themes presented. The professional editing of the book ensures a seamless flow, maintaining clarity and coherence throughout.

The author's ability to tackle complex philosophical concepts within a fictional framework is commendable. The characters, whether earthly or celestial, breathe life into the narrative, making it relatable and emotionally resonant.

In conclusion, "AfterLife: There Will Be Trouble" by E. Vince is a masterfully crafted exploration of the human experience, offering a unique perspective on the afterlife, existential challenges, and the divine. There is nothing I dislike about this book. It is well crafted. The book deserves a 5 out of 5 rating for its compelling narrative, philosophical depth, and seamless execution of complex themes. It is a literary journey that captivates, challenges, and ultimately leaves an impression on the reader.
