Jodi Picoult knows how to craft together a story, including all of the minute details that others would probably skim over.

It is a tear-jearker, if you're into that kind of thing and it will probably make you reconsider pieces of your life and decisions you have made.

Picoult has a way of making you wonder about yourself. Constantly thinking: "What would I do if I was in this situation?" And inevitably, you could always go one of two ways. Her stories are intricately woven and twisted. Edge of your see in thoughts, but slow paced as a story in the whole. 300-400 pages to cover a few months' time.

Picoult always includes controversial subjects that get dissected by a courthouse and some kind of lawyer- who are usually one lawyer pitted against another. You get to see all sides of everyone involved's lives unravel and sometimes come back together.

I would highly reccommend The Pact: a Love Story, Nineteen Minutes, and Keeping Faith.

I loved the book. As LauraH said, My Sister's Keeper is definitely a tear jerker. I never really had the interest to see the movie, since generally for me, books tend to be better than their movies.
