Victim Selection Error by M. Todd Bayliss

I bought this off Amazon on the recommendation of a friend, and man I'm glad. Perhaps there is hope for the action/adventure genre after all.

Basic premise is that gang members kidnap the main character's wife and kid by mistake. When the cops won't go looking for them, he takes on the job himself.

Think "Die Hard", only substitute character development for cursing and gore.

He even uses good sentence structure (a novelty these days).
A good, refreshing read.
