Hunger of the Pine by Teal Swan Is a heartfelt and inspiring story that follows the journey of Aria Abbott, a seventeen-year-old girl who lives with her foster family. Aria had an extremely tough life as a baby while growing up with her own mother. Her mother finds happiness and comfort in addiction, which causes her to sell off everything she has to feed her addiction. Later on, when she turns fifteen years old, Aria is taken away from her mom and given to social workers, where she is later sent to a foster family. She goes through a hard and painful life while staying with her foster family, and she runs away three years later. She spends her days seeking shelter, where she meets other friends. Follow the story of Aria to know what happens next in her life. Will she find a permanent home, and will she find love?

This book is a heartfelt and extra-ordinary novel, and I really enjoyed reading it. The book addresses various themes, such as love, friendship, bravery, courage, and heartbreak. This book shares the story of people who spend their lives on the streets trying to feed themselves and sharing with others what little they do have. The author also highlights the importance of not judging a person until you know what the person is going through and that even a little difference in someone's life can make them feel loved.

There wasn't absolutely no reason for me to dislike this book. This book is impressive, and I applaud the author for writing a master piece such as this book. I loved that even though each friend of Aria's is on the streets, they all have heartbreaking pasts and moments, and they find comfort in sharing their stories. The horrible moments in their lives make them mature and give them the courage to move forward. I also really liked the title of the book, which gives readers an idea of what this book is about and how much struggle they face to feed themselves on the street.

I rate this book five out of five stars. While reading this book, I did not come across any errors. This book is exceptionally well edited and has an amazing layout and style.

I recommend this book to teenagers over the age of eighteen due to its themes such as molestation, prostitution, and its use of profanity. I also recommend this book to adults who want to read something different for a change. This book is amazing and will get any reader hooked on it till the last bit.
