Review of Sunday Brunch
A group of girlfriends decided to take a break from their hectic lives and gather every Sunday for brunch. They dressed their best and left their hardships behind. They wanted to be only themselves through those gatherings and leave all the drama behind. It was their sacred time. Sara, the friend who tells the story, gives us a glimpse of their weekly brunch in addition to a glimpse of her usual week with her lovely family. Life isn't a smooth ride for anyone, and this group wasn't an exception. You can grab Sunday Brunch by Tamara S. Fawkes-Smith to learn what happens to them and how they react.
The story had some good values. I liked the parenting method Sara used with her children. She used patience and love. Also, the support the friends gave to each other was nice. Friends can be a real escape from life's toughness. I liked how the friends dressed up and met every week for a breather. It was nice to see how committed they were to this.
On the other hand, the layout of the book needs some work. It wasn't organized well. The titles and the beginning of new chapters and paragraphs were just put there without proper distancing or separation. In addition, the book could have used some more work on the editing. There are some mistakes in spelling, spacing, and punctuation. The book isn't long, so it shouldn't be hard to get it out properly.
The story was nice and had some good values. It wasn't a deep one with a strong twist. It can be a simple, quiet read. The book needs some improvement to come out properly. Therefore, I rate Sunday Brunch by Tamara S. Fawkes-Smith three out of five stars.
The book can suit people who aren't looking for a complicated read. It suits you if you seek something nice and quiet that discusses family and friendship. If you’re not comfortable with sexual descriptions, you need to know there are some of them included.
