A tale that will strike a chord with every reader, A Place Under the Sun by Luis Urtueta is a genuine, raw, and lyrical masterpiece. Enrique, or Henry, struggles with balancing his personal and professional lives. While he is earning immense success in his professional life, he is being sucked into the deep, dark chasm of loneliness in his personal life. Throughout the story, he must learn to make the decisions that will shape his life, for better or for worse.

I felt truly connected to the story. I am sure that every single person in this world has struggled with their mental health because the corporate world never stops working. We must ask ourselves what is important to us and make decisions accordingly. This book is a contemplative and well-written exploration of just that.

I enjoyed the writing style because it took us deep into the protagonist’s mind. I felt every emotion that the protagonist was feeling, and it made an emotional impact on my reading experience. The pacing is phenomenal, and I never felt bored. The writing was also quite detailed. It set the scene and made me feel as though I was with Henry.

There was absolutely nothing that I disliked about this book. It was reflective, introspective, relatable, and a quiet break from the busy world. It is sure to make for a great reading experience for just about any reader because there is something for everyone.

I found no typos or grammatical errors while reading, which leads me to believe that the book was professionally edited. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars for being an absolutely wonderful experience.

If you are feeling stuck between your personal and professional worlds, I recommend this book to you. Remember, life is short and can only be lived once.
