"She had been through it before. It wasn’t easy. Ending a relationship, even a lousy one, was hard." This is how Break Up With Him Now by Lena Lubinka started, and this is what I see as the essence of the book. It sheds light on a woman who was in an abusive, narcissistic relationship and the stages she and other people go through when in such a position. It shows different phases of the relationship. Starting with being stuck in a pattern and attracting a certain type. Then it moves on to surrendering and doubting one's self and finding justifications. It then moves to waking up and noticing things until she realizes she is in an abusive relationship and that she has to leave.

The book was different and well-made. It's short and direct. It describes a case and focuses on feelings that might not be discussed openly. It shows anyone who might be going through such a thing that they aren't alone or crazy and that their feelings are valid. It shows how manipulative people can act. It shows people there is a way out.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about the book. It is helpful and enjoyable. I liked it when the character did little things for revenge when she got upset. It made me smile because I liked the resistant soul. Although the book discusses a heavy topic, its writing is light and even funny sometimes. I guess it makes it easier to read and accept, and I love that. The book received professional editing. I could only notice a couple of mistakes. Therefore, I rate Break Up With Him Now by Lena Lubinka five out of five stars. I recommend the book to anyone who would like to see how abusive and manipulative relationships go. I also recommend it to people who are in such relationships and need a bit of validation and encouragement.
