What defines true masculinity? Man Mission by Eytan Uliel digs into the lives of four men as they struggle to find a balance between living the adventurous life they’ve always longed for since their college days and being the responsible breadwinners of their respective families.

Four friends commit to going on an annual adventure to exotic locations as an escape from their reality. While hiking in New Zealand, they come across a group of fierce-looking drug lords; in Africa, they come face-to-face with a lion; they fall into a coma after drinking Kava root extract with a native chieftain; in Vietnam, they lodge in a hotel reserved for communist party officials; all of these experiences only fuel their passion for outdoor adventures as they look forward to finding out who wears the "pink bracelet" on their next trip. Despite career shifts, marriages, raising children, divorce, and experiencing grief, these friends continue their journeys together as the years pass, as they become a source of solace amidst all of life's challenges. Will their friendship stand the test of time, or will it fade away? Ultimately, would their men's mission continue to serve the purpose for which it was initially created?

As a lover of adventure, I found this book very thrilling. The storyline was compelling, and it was greatly detailed. I also loved the emphasis on the beautiful bond that can be created through friendship and relationships. Overall, this book was a great read and would keep readers on the edge of their seats.

I didn’t dislike anything about this book, as it is filled with a lot of life lessons and has a very satisfactory ending. I loved how descriptive the writer was with the epic travel adventures, and I also enjoyed the writer’s portrayal of men’s emotions as exceptional, maintaining their masculinity and ability to express love.

I’d rate this book five out of five stars because it was a worthy read, and I found nothing to dislike. The book was well edited, but I came across a few errors while reading it. To lovers of adventurers and people who cherish the bond created through friendship, this is a good read, and I absolutely recommend it.
