Review of The Atlantis Cure
The Atlantis Cure by Pierce Roberts is a thrilling science fiction novel where a global pandemic is ravaging the world. More than 20% of the population of some cities has been lost to this plague, and there has been no cure for it. World governments are suffering, as no one is left unaffected. Despite the amount of money being spent, it looks like the world is heading for extinction if nothing is done to stem the deaths that are rising as a result of this plague. Scientists and world leaders are at a loss for what to do, but there is a cure that can save mankind from the brink of extinction. It was foretold thousands of years earlier. The cure to the virus and the survival of mankind were hidden on an ancient stone tablet. This information, which was encrypted, was yet to be uncovered, and it held the cure for mankind. What is this information?
The message stone from Atlantis had been separated into two and kept apart for thousands of years, but when they are reunited, it triggers the beginning of the fulfillment of this prophecy of a cure. Joseph Blackwater, a native American with Atlantean DNA, is the one who was chosen by the ancestors to cause the discovery of the Atlantis Cure, and he has his friends to help him. Joseph's friends are a group of scientists, men and women, working together to find a cure for the plague that is currently ravaging the world and thereby defeating the evildoers who want to destroy the world and the good in it. The Atlantis Cure, The Secret of the Message Stone, is the fourth book in the Destroyer series. Just as in previous installments, this band of investigators fights against Satan's destroyers that rise to wreck evil on earth. They do not battle alone, as they have supernatural help in their fight against evil.
I would pick two characters in this book as my favorites; Joseph and Rick were the ones to whom I would give the highest rating. I admire their dedication and commitment. The entire team was relentless in their efforts, but I love these two the most. In Joseph, I see a compassionate figure who is always ready to fight the good fight against evil; wherever his ancestors send him, he is always ready to go.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and the book deserves every accolade it gets. It was a really exciting experience reading this book. I found it hard to put down, as the story was really interesting. I commend the author for another amazing installation in this series, and I commend the editor for a job well done. The book is exceptionally edited. There is nothing I dislike about this book.
I give the book a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I must confess that this novel is one of the best I have read this year. The science discussion in the book, together with the supernatural, makes it a masterpiece on its own. I was cheering on the team and was so excited about the beautiful finale. It's a book I would recommend to lovers of science fiction novels, ancient prophecies, and books about the supernatural.
