Hunger of the Pine by Teal Swan is a book that talks about reality in its rawest form. For me, it was reality being shown to me so that I could experience it through the eyes of Aria. Aria grew up in group homes and foster homes, and lived a life that most of us are not familiar with. Eventually, she runs away after her ordeal with a family. Thereafter, she meets Taylor, and their lives become intertwined with one another. Aria and Taylor survive together and decide to go to Los Angeles. Will Los Angeles give them a better life, or will there be more surprises and disappointments? Read this book and find out about the life of Aria.

I love the tone and flow of the book. Its rhythm is paced perfectly, and the storytelling in it is top-notch. The settings of the book are also created perfectly, with all descriptions done to match the places that are mentioned. There is a vivid portrayal of scenarios and places in the book that adds a high degree of realism to the story, thereby making it compelling to anyone who reads it. The book also has a nice mix of characters ranging from minor to major, and all of them are developed very well.

There is nothing to dislike about this book. Everything is done superbly and professionally. It does contain one error, however. This error was a very minor one, but I must mention it, so it was professionally edited regardless. I recommend this book to people who like reading fascinating thrillers.

The fact that I actually have nothing bad to say about the book and have high praise for the storyline and general development are enough reasons for me to justify the perfect rating that I awarded to this book. I rate Hunger of the Pine by Teal Swan 5 out of 5 stars for being exceptional.
