Hello, My Love: Between Two Worlds, Book 1 by Evy Journey is a captivating love story of two people from different worlds, a headstrong law student and successful businessman with a playboy reputation. Their love story is not an easy one from the beginning because they are faced with obstacles that keep them apart. Nevertheless, true love prevails.

Elise Halverson is a twenty three year old law student who is independent and strong willed. She feels she does not need a man especially one like Greg Thorpe. Greg Thorpe is a businessman with a reputation of being a playboy. Greg begins working with Elise’s father and soon after meeting Elise, he begins attending dinner parties that Elise’s parents host. Greg falls in love with Elise from the moment he meets her but Elise wants nothing to do with him or his playboy ways. Greg is persistent and does not back down even when Elise acts as if she wants nothing to do with him. When they do find that they have some things in common, they disagree and argue a lot but soon become friends. When they finally admit their feelings for each other, it may be too late because Greg is getting married in two days. After one amazing night, they each have to face the fact that their love may not be meant to be. Elise tries to face the fact that she may never see Greg again due to his upcoming wedding. Greg comes to the realization that he cannot marry Lori, his fiancé for the past year. Even though Greg’s marriage to Lori never happened, Greg and Elise have trouble finding their way back to each other. Lori, Greg’s ex-fiancé, and a gang member from the first big case that Elise is working cause problems and may end their relationship forever.

This book is fantastic! Romance is not my typical genre interest however, I cannot wait to read the next book. What I liked most was the mixture of romance and drama. The author does an amazing jobs of giving you just enough drama to tone down the sappy love story that happens is some romance novels. Evy Journey also does a terrific job of writing from the point of view of both characters. This gives you the feeling that you are getting both characters story.

Dislikes? I cannot think of a single thing I did not like. There were no grammatical errors and the story flowed nicely. These items really kill a book for me.

I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. This book was outstanding and Evy Journey’s style of writing is amazing and makes it hard to put the book down. It was most definitely a page-turner. I read this over a weekend.
