Review of Eternity
Carlos' literary masterpiece Eternity focused on what happens after a man and a woman split up. The challenges they each encountered in their quest to find a compatible companion were the main subject of the book. They experienced a lot of failures in this aspect since, despite their best attempts, things constantly seemed to go wrong for them both. The main female character is a self-employed mother of two who searches the digital world for "the one," but her searches are invariably fruitless. She ended up regretting one-night hookups, which she had as a consolation. She started to lose faith. She was also quite selective in who she chose, and nobody ever seemed to fit her perfectly.
She never completely realized that this "friend" was truly everything she had ever desired in a person, but throughout it all, she always found comfort in the company of one of her male friends, who gave her encouragement to pursue her love interest and counsel. The male protagonist, on the other hand, is a freelance writer working free time hours from home. Having been in on-and-off relationships with his ex, whom he never knows how to be himself around, the most recent breakup between both sees him in awe of his new-found freedom, which he exploits to get intimate with other prospective female partners without the unnecessary feelings of guilt or commitment. All this soon changes when he realizes the one he's been looking for has always been beside him.
I had every reason to appreciate this book. Both parties were just like pieces in a chess game. It was nice to know that they both finally saw each other and admitted that they loved each other. Will this just be another cliché test run, or will this love stand the test of time? Find out from this breath-taking literary work. The book contains all the essential elements that make for a blockbuster romance novel. It was a very emotional piece. The writing style used by the author is top-notch, as it illustrates the love story from the viewpoints of both the male and female protagonists. The character development is superb, and the climax of the story is epic.
I had little or no reason to dislike the book. The storyline was engaging and interesting. I just wanted to keep on reading as the story got more interesting. I always wanted to know what was next, and the book did not fail to deliver.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and found nothing to criticize. It was well-paced, highly engaging, and a great read overall. The short chapters were fun and made it easy to binge. The book had a mysterious atmosphere with a very unpredictable plot twist at the end. It was also free of errors and professionally edited, so it earns 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to readers with great interest in romance, especially those who would love to have a perspective from both parties.
