I finally just finished this book. It was really hard to get into. I just didn't get into any of the characters. The relationships between the characters were hard to figure out. One chapter they'd be friends and the next hostile, for no apparent reason.
The main character seemed very weak to me. Like she couldn't take care of herself and always made really dumb decisions. And the fact that someone was always driving her to go visit someone. She had a rental car. Is anyone really that co-dependent?
And seriously - ghosts, psychic powers, healing powers, who-dunnit style murder, AND a UFO? Why not throw in a vampire and the lochness monster too? Way too much going on for any of it to make sense and not much effort was made to explain any of it.
