Since you've read a few vampire books, I would think you might enjoy the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyers. Have you read it yet?

I read the first one and was dissapointed. I just cant take it seriously, and its not quite funny enough to read for the comedic value (in my opinion). not to mention the hype was so big here that there was no way it could live up to it.thanks for the reply though :D

Uglies books by Scott Westerfield
The City of Ember-Jeanne DuPrau
Among the Hidden-Margaret Haddix
The Pinhoe Egg-Dianne Wynn Jones
I actually haven't read the Uglies books yet but I hear they're very good.

I have heard the uglies series was good too, but the library is always out, and I refuse to reserve books. I actually have read the city of ember and need to add it to my list. People of sparks too.
