I agree with the reviewer, although I have only read the sample provided of the book. The author writes in a relaxed style but with sufficient detail to draw you into the story and keep you wanting to read more. Well written review!

Sometimes we all have to do things we don't like or don't really want to do. It's too bad that Natalie had to learn this at such a young age.

I could relate to Natalie's story in some ways. This sounds like an interesting novel that will keep one glued to the last page. Congrats on the BOTD.

It's a wonderful book, and it's brilliantly written. Readers are left with a vivid picture in their minds because to the author's attention to detail in the descriptions. It's easy to read and keeps the reader's attention throughout. This is a fantastic piece of writing. Please accept my congratulations on being this week's BOTD.

I like a book with great characterization! I also like that the author sets the tone to get attached to the story. These are the best kind of books as they stay with you for long. The storyline sounds interesting. I want to find out how Natalie navigates her emotions towards Bruce, and the turbulent relationship with her stepfather. Congratulations on BOTD!

This seems to be an interesting book. Natalie stepfather Alex, abuse shows the many pain felt by kids from abusive parents. I'm gonna be reading this book. Thank for the review.

When a reader becomes emotionally invested, that is a sign of a good book. It has the power to forever change personal perceptions and, hopefully, garner empathy and understanding. Great review!

The book sound somewhat generic and I've read way too many generic books lately. However, you did rate it four out of four so it was probably not too formulaic. I might read it when I have the time

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Natalie addresses all the challenges in her life. She seemed to be an interesting character as she faced her stepfather’s behavior toward her and her mother. It’s very intriguing to know how she will tackle the conflict in her lovelife.
