Aiden Summers gets involved in an accident while drunk. This incident leads to the untimely death of Cindy, his beloved girlfriend, leaving him shattered and broken. Ridden with guilt, he attempts suicide, which turns out unsuccessful, and he gets shot five times by a policeman. Fortunately, he survives this and begins a quest towards finding meaning in life. This leads him to a ‘Magic Bridge’, which people believe to be an answer to life’s mind-boggling questions.

"Magic Bridge" by Tom Wheeler is a book that helps readers discover true meaning in life. The author hopes to share a message of hope and love through the gospel of Christianity. Effective Christianity involves lending a helping hand to the helpless and trying our best to be there for those who are in need. Sometimes, the Holy Spirit directs us to do things we may not seem to accept. However, in the end, we are glad to adhere to his instructions.

I was glad Xavier was able to surrender to Christ as his Lord and personal saviour before his death. This signifies that no matter how filthy we may think we are, we should come to God, as he forgives us of our iniquities. Aiden, who felt lost and suicidal, eventually found Christ and is even used as an instrument to win souls. I love how relatable the characters in this book are. They are portrayed as imperfect humans with lots of shortcomings, as seen in the cases of Aiden and Xavier. The book’s plot is well-arranged and easily understood.

I found no shortcomings in the book, nor did I come across any errors while reading; hence, it boasts exceptional editing. For these reasons, I can’t help but rate it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. It is a Christian book recommended to readers who wish to surrender to the total will of God Almighty. Again, Christian believers who seem to have lost their bearing in life will find it helpful, as it will help them get back on the right track.
